In these hands-on papier-mâché classes, your child will have the opportunity to create their own unique projects, such as sculptures, masks, or puppets. Using basic techniques, they’ll learn how to mold and shape paper into imaginative forms and creatures. This is a fantastic way to explore the exciting world of sculpture and discover the many creative possibilities of papier-mâché.  Each project encourages creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression, perfect for young artists eager to get their hands messy and bring their ideas to life!

Want to share the joy of art with friends?

If you'd like to turn your private sessions into a social, creative experience, consider our group workshops! Perfect for sharing laughs, ideas, and inspiration, these sessions are great for special occasions or ongoing art time with friends in the comfort of your home.

Initial Meeting: Before starting, we’ll have an initial meeting where I get to know your child’s interests, preferences, learning style, and goals. From there, I’ll design a tailored papier-maché art curriculum and materials list, based on their individual passions, age, and class frequency choice (10 session workshop vs on-going classes).

Materials: Materials used for papier-maché are affordable and resourceful, often incorporating recycled  and readily available items.  Materials for papier-maché are non-toxic and environmentally conscious supplies. Some materials will be provided, others will be listed on the material list.

Duration and Frequency: Classes are typically 1.5 hours, on a weekly basis. There’s a minimum 10-session commitment for the papier-maché classes. Scheduling is flexible to accommodate busy lifestyles. Classes can be scheduled for a longer session at an adjusted price.

Location: Classes are held at the student's home for ultimate convenience. No need to be rushing your kid(s) around to another activity. Here we learn that we can create an "creative space" anywhere, all you need is a large enough table surface, and adequate table coverage for keeping the mess away. Classes are only offered in San Francisco, CA.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class for a full refund or rescheduling (subject to the instructor's availability)

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may result in the student being charged the full class fee.

  • Exceptions for emergencies or unexpected illnesses, with proof or a good-faith explanation.

  • For workshops with a minimum session commitment, missed classes must be rescheduled or will be considered non-refundable.
